Black & White Coffee Roasters is a locally owned company that, simply put, produces yummy coffee. I have reviewed a few blends in an earlier post and keep returning for more.

In fact, over the past week I rewarded myself and some of my Cru friends with B&W’s Single Origen blend called Future. I betray my coffee ignorance when I say this, but I chose the Future blend because of the description: Juicy, Tropical, and Complex … Juicy sounds lively, fun and carefree; tropical conjures up an idyllic location on a white, sandy beach with a warm salty breeze; and, complex keeps it 100. In other words, we have to keep it real during these crazy and perplexing days.

Also, I chose Future because there is light at the end of the tunnel and the hope of a better future.

No matter how the present is stacking up for you today, I say, an afternoon pour-over always helps. Mine today was especially juicy, tropical and complex. If you enjoy coffee and want to support a North Carolina roaster B&W is great choice.
